After training I know how to lead with empathy and do my best to understand where the sales rep is coming from before tackling my needs. This way I can focus on our partnership and future relationship and less on US vs THEM.
I was always scared after meetings because we would be gone and then we had to count on the prospect to sell internally. Now I’m not worried when prospects play the telephone game because they sell on our behalf.
We’ve changed both our sales and marketing to the Alpha GTM storytelling methodology because it’s so simple and so effective. Before, we used to spend a lot of time trying to figure out messaging, but now we have a common language that we can all speak and get aligned internally on. That in turn has made selling so much easier because we know exactly what we want to say to customers and how we want to say it.
I’ve attended many kick off trainings like this and always dread when I see them on the agenda. This training is different, however. For the better! Very engaging and loved the pre work done to make it relevant to all GTM teams. I’ve never seen that done before. Would happily attend a session again!
I used to just show product features in my demos. Showed as many features and differentiated them as I could. But now I understand that this can be overwhelming to a non-sophisticated buyer. Framing the functions around customer success stories and engaging with the audience throughout the demo is a way to ensure that the audience is following along and is actually getting benefit from the demonstration. This is going to result in fewer demos needed to get the prospect comfortable with buying Eightfold.

Latin culture involves a lot of empathy between the buyer and the seller. The Alpha Presales training was extremely helpful for me. Not only did it reinforce the points I needed to improve, but it also showed me clear and effective ways to improve my sales and communication skills (especially listening).

Right after the training Monday I had a discovery call where I got to use many of the techniques shared where I found that the discovery was even further accelerated. I'm all about getting my tech win in 3 meetings or less and fast.
